CRRC’s Tournament Training, run by Junior Performance Director Olga Warshaw, focuses on the player who is committed to tennis. Olga brings her extensive professional playing & teaching background to her students. With a highly trained & certified teaching staff, juniors will improve their tennis in a motivated environment. Enrollment in the training program is by invitation only.

During both the indoor and outdoor seasons, Chestnut Ridge offers private, semi-private, and drill group lessons for adults. These types of lessons are set up by arrangement with members of the professional staff.

Junior Championship Program

Our Junior Championship Program provides a challenging instructional and match play environment for the student looking to play highly competitive tennis. The program's focus is on planning and execution of time-tested patterns of play and learning how to adjust a game plan based upon the score. In addition, technical refinements are emphasized for each student on an individualized basis.

Junior Summer Tennis Camp

The Chestnut Ridge Junior Summer Tennis Camp program provides intensive training for the serious junior player who is regularly competing in tournaments and matches. The training sessions will include work on the four main ingredients of playing high-level tennis. The morning session will also accommodate less-advanced players.

Our pros are certified & have a world class background in playing & teaching tennis. Following USTA Net Generation fundamentals, students progress through the phases of junior development, with a pathway toward Tournament Training for the competitive player.

Our Men's Doubles Clinics are organized and run by Brad Breakstone. Brad teaches aggressive doubles within a percentage tennis framework and has helped many USTA players to get to the next level.

Women's Doubles Clinic

In our Women's Doubles Clinics technical skills and tactics are integrated so that players learn both when to hit a certain shot and how to hit it. Court positioning is a crucial element in playing better doubles. Positioning will be taught as well as modifications to the basic positions so that a player may get the most out of her game.

Women's Singles Development

The Women's Singles Development Program provides the missing link between lessons and matches. This is playing practice sets. Players are provided with a wide range of opponents, all at the 4.0-5.0 level. Participants are also guided and encouraged to add new dimensions to their games.
