
Angie Kohn joined the Chestnut Ridge tennis staff this fall after moving to New York just a year and a half ago. She is a former college scholarship player (St. Cloud State, St. Cloud Minnesota) where she was team captain for 2 years and played #1 singles and doubles. She earned All-American Academic Team honors while at St. Cloud State. During college, Angie interned at the USTA Northern Office promoting tennis at the regional and national levels. After college, Angie's experience led her to the Saddlebrook International Tennis Academy where she worked with juniors aspiring to become top college players and touring professionals as well as adults of all skill sets from around the world. After Saddlebrook, she spent a year in Atlanta coaching junior and adult league teams for TPA, a tennis management company. She led 7 adult teams to division titles and 3 teams to the city championships in just a year’s time. As the Head Tennis Professional at The Ranch Country Club in Denver, Colorado, Angie spent 6 years leading numerous adult teams to district, state and sectional championships as well as developing junior players to play college tennis. During the summer months, Angie serves as the Head Tennis Professional at Waccabuc Country Club.
Angie holds a degree in Sports Science and is a USPTA certified professional.
